Bianca, our need knower, is a very talented mosaic artist who, despite encountering a stroke leading to right-side hemiplegia, has remained resolute in her commitment to this artistic expression.
Teaming up with Occupational Therapists, we designed an assistive glass mosaic cutter that will be useful for her mosaic activities needs.
I came up with the prototype idea and worked on all graphic, motion related tasks for the project. I also involved in building the prototype and final outcome with my fellow designer teammate Viseth, along with our prototype expert – Mitch’s help.
Bianca was extremely happy with the results and now using it on a daily basis to create her favorite designs with less help needed.
